Phung Hung Street is extended from Phan Dinh Phung Street to Hang Bong Street, in the past the street was a row of moats running along the outside of the eastern wall of Thang Long citadel in the Nguyen Dynasty. Few people know that Phung Hung Street was formerly the first motorbike market in Hanoi.
The mural street section starts from the beginning of No. 1 to around No. 51 of Phung Hung street. It has been converted into a walking area for people to visit and take pictures.
To go to Phung Hung mural street, you can take these bus lines: 01, 14CT, 18, 22A, 36CT.
If traveling by private vehicle, follow the directions of google Maps to get to Phung Hung street. Note that Phung Hung Street is quite long and is a one-way street, the mural road starts at number 1, so please find the right way.

What's attractive about Phung Hung mural street?
Phung Hung mural street was officially opened in the spring of 2018 with the diligence and meticulousness of Korean Vietnamese artists. They created 17 modern paintings on a total of 127 ancient bridge arches to create a space connecting heritage, artistic and community values.

The paintings are painted on a wooden background with Pu paint and golden acrylics, and then hard-clad into the domes of this mural street, they are recreating a dear Hanoi. The paintings have both modern and traditional features, preserving the cultural beauty of Hanoi city.
The subject of the painting is often repeated: the general department stores, the women carrying the street vendors, the jingling trams, the word masters... Until today, Phung Hung has become a familiar friend for those who want to immerse themselves in a bit of Hanoi's past as well as a familiar tourist destination.
