Although it only has a length of 200m, this place is designed quite nicely to create an extremely spacious and airy space. This small street is home to 16 famous bookstores such as Kim Dong, Dinh Ty, Nha Nam, Thai Ha book, Phuong Nam...

The first sign for you to recognize Book street is the presence of two book icons at the beginning of two ends of the street. Walking on the clean white stone path, visitors will admire the neatly arranged books on wooden shelves. Books are divided into many categories such as children's storybooks, foreign language books, foreign novels, Vietnamese literature... so you won't need a long time to find them.

In the middle of the street is a small square where they hold exchanges, discussions and introduction of books by domestic and foreign authors. For the convenience of visiting, the book street is also equipped with 2 public electronic information search stations and e-books to help readers and visitors learn thoroughly about the history, culture, and tourism of Hanoi. More specifically, there are optimal solutions to reach people with disabilities, children and the elderly.

This place still retains many perennial green trees and is also planted with 25 new trees to create shade for visitors, besides, taking advantage of the divider to make a flower garden, arrange a seating system to read books...
